The Knole Sofa with tassells and drop-down sides is known to be the very first upholstered sofa of its kind and it gets its name from the original sofa which is still at Knole Park in Kent, England.
The original sofa was made between 1610 -1620 and is upholstered in red velvet with red fringing.
